Opposition MP questions FSC allocation

OPPOSITION parliamentarian Salote Radrodro questioned Government’s allocation of $50 million from the COVID-19 Response Budget to the Fiji Sugar Corporation.

Speaking during debate on the COVID-19 Response Bill 2020 on Friday in Parliament, she said the money would be better spent on acquiring medical equipment needed for the most vulnerable Fijians.

“We also note, that FSC is being allocated $50 million,” she said.
