The signing of a sponsorship agreement and the handing over of a $35,000 cheque from Vinod Patel to Netball Fiji was a timely occasion, says Netball Fiji CEO Vivan Koster.

“Since it’s a World Cup year, our players will be training very hard and preparing for the tournament that will be held in South Africa,” she said.

The 2023 Netball World Cup will be held in Cape Town, South Africa from 28th July to 6th August.

Koster said Netball Fiji was very proud to be an associate partner with Vinod Patel, one of the biggest hardware companies in the country.

At the moment, the Fiji Pearls are in boot camp in Suva with a few overseas-based players already in the country.

“We still have yet a few other overseas-based players to join the girls here in Fiji.”
