Nadi retained the Farebrother Sullivan Trophy in fashion downing Tailevu 28-10 at Prince Charles Park this afternoon.

The Jetsetters outscored Tailevu five tries to two.

Nadi led 8-5 at the break.

The hosts were all over Tailevu in the second spell capitalising on the mistake made by the visitors.

Tailevu head coach Samisoni Baikeitoga said Nadi’s second half ploy of pressuring his boys into making mistakes worked for the home team.

He said they had the tempo in the first half but lost the plot in the second through the unforced errors.

Nadi team manager Samuela Navale said they were worthy winners after missing out on the Skipper Cup semi-final berth by one point.

He said with the trophy resting in the Jet Set town for the rest of the year, the plans for the next season will be unveiled soon.

More than 13000 fans witnessed the fixture.
