Former A-G questioned on allegations of abuse of office

Former Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum is currently being questioned at the Valelevu Police Station.
Acting ACP Sakeo Raikaci says Mr Sayed-Khaiyum is being questioned with regards to a report lodged by the Acting Supervisor of Elections last month.
ACP Raikaci said the report is in relation to various allegations of abuse of office and the use of forged documents.
