The April sitting of Parliament has been deferred.

A Fiji Parliament statement issued today stated all parliamentary business for the April sitting would be dealt with in the May sitting, scheduled to take place from May 25-29, 2020.

The statement attributed this to the present situation in Fiji surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and the life-saving measures and restrictions implemented by the Ministry of Health and Medical Services.
